The Asia-Pacific Leadership Network for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament (APLN) has over one hundred members from eighteen countries across Asia and the Pacific, consisting of former political, diplomatic and military leaders, senior government officials, and scholars and opinion leaders. APLN aims to inform and energize public opinion, especially high-level policymakers, to take seriously the very real threats posed by nuclear weapons, and to do everything possible to achieve a world in which they are contained, diminished and eventually eliminated.
Hasmy Agam served as the Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the United Nations, President of the Security Council of the UN, and Secretary-General of the Association of South-East Asian Nations Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Tan Sri Rastam is a former Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia. He served in various capacities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in Malaysian diplomatic missions abroad.
Dr. Rajmah Hussain has served as Ambassador of Malaysia to USA, France and Austria, and as Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the United Nations.
