The Asia-Pacific Leadership Network for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament (APLN) has over one hundred members from eighteen countries across Asia and the Pacific, consisting of former political, diplomatic and military leaders, senior government officials, and scholars and opinion leaders. APLN aims to inform and energize public opinion, especially high-level policymakers, to take seriously the very real threats posed by nuclear weapons, and to do everything possible to achieve a world in which they are contained, diminished and eventually eliminated.
Stefanie KAM Li Yee
Stefanie KAM Li Yee is an Assistant Professor at the China Programme, Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies at Nanyang Technological University.
Stefanie KAM Li Yee received her PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the Australian National University. She is currently Assistant Professor at the China Programme, Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her research focuses on Chinese domestic politics and state-society relations. She has published in peer-reviewed journals such as International Affairs and has a forthcoming paper with Asian Perspective. Her commentaries have appeared in platforms such as Carnegie China, The National Interest, East Asia Forum, Channel News Asia, TODAY and The Diplomat. She has been cited and/or interviewed by The Financial Times, The Straits Times and other news outlets.
