Miyako Kurosaki is a research coordinator at Hiroshima Organization for Global Peace (HOPe) / Hiroshima Prefecture and works on nuclear deterrence and disarmament. Before joining the HOPe, she was a research consultant at the Union of Concerned Scientists and worked on a research project about Japanese nuclear policy. She began her career as a journalist at Kyodo News and covered the atomic bombing and its impact and consequences in Hiroshima. She earned an MA degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
