Cherry Hitkari is a PhD candidate of Chinese Studies at the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi, India. She is a non-resident Vasey Fellow and Young Leader at Pacific Forum Hawaii, USA and a Network for Advanced Study of China (NASC) Fellow at Takshashila Institution, India. She is also the founder and editor-in-chief of a student-led gender research journal called 'Parwaaz'. She hosts a podcast show called 'Talking China with Cherry Hitkari' and speaks Hindi, English and Chinese.
