The Asia-Pacific Leadership Network for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament (APLN) has over one hundred members from eighteen countries across Asia and the Pacific, consisting of former political, diplomatic and military leaders, senior government officials, and scholars and opinion leaders. APLN aims to inform and energize public opinion, especially high-level policymakers, to take seriously the very real threats posed by nuclear weapons, and to do everything possible to achieve a world in which they are contained, diminished and eventually eliminated.
Tuya NYAMOSOR
Former Minister for External Relations
Tuya Nyamosor is the former Foreign Minister of Mongolia and is affiliated with the School of International Relations and Public Administration at the Mongolian National University.
Ms. Tuya Nyamosor is the former Foreign Minister of Mongolia. She has worked on regional security issues in the Asia-Pacific since the mid-1990s, both in and out of the government. Her previous positions include Director of Policy Planning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Counselor at Mongolia’s Mission to the United Nations. She has held visiting fellowships at the Brookings Institution and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has studied international relations and political theory at the Moscow Institute of International Relations, the SAIS-Johns Hopkins University and the University of Leeds, and also studied French culture at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. She is currently affiliated with the School of International Relations and Public Administration (SIRPA) at the National University of Mongolia.
