Members
The Asia-Pacific Leadership Network (APLN) has over 180 members from 26 countries across Asia and the Pacific, consisting of former political, diplomatic and military leaders, senior government officials, and scholars and opinion leaders, dedicated to addressing security challenges in the Asia-Pacific, with a particular focus on nuclear non-proliferation, risk reduction, and disarmament.

Kate DEWES
Dr Kate Dewes is former Director of the Disarmament and Security Centre, former New Zealand expert on the UN Study on Disarmament and Non Proliferation Education and a former member of the UN Secretary General's Advisory Board on Disarmament Matters.
Dr Kate Dewes is former Director of the Disarmament and Security Centre and had co-directed the Centre with her husband Robert Green since 1998. Dr Dewes was on the International Steering Committee for the World Court Project; a member of the Public Advisory Committee on Disarmament and Arms Control; part-time lecturer in Peace Studies at the University of Canterbury for 20 years; the NZ government expert on the UN Study on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Education 2000-2002, and a member of the UN Secretary-General’s Advisory Board on Disarmament Matters 2008-2013.
