Dr. Hina Pandey is a Foreign-Security Policy Analyst from India. She has over 12 years of experience in the field of international relations and foreign policy. She is currently working as a Consultant to the Disarmament and International Security Affairs (D&ISA) Division of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India (GoI).

In her current role, she is providing her research expertise to aid the conduct of India's Foreign Policy, by bringing in independent, contrarian, critical perspectives to the Division through evidence-based, public policy inputs. Her core competencies include policy advisory, research, data-driven research and analysis, monitoring and evaluation of international affairs, and building and sustaining engagements with diverse stakeholders of Disarmament & International Security Affairs including MarSec issues.

She has published her articles and op-eds in National Journals; and in global platforms such as the Institute for Security & Development Policy (ISDP) Sweden, the Diplomat, Japan Forward, Stimson Centre, NIICE Nepal, Pakistan-Politico, Insitute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS), Kalinga Institute for Indo-Pacific Studies (KIIPS)etc.

She was one of two Visiting Fellows from India to the South Asian Voices (SAV), Stimson Centre, (USA) in 2018. Also, an alumna of NPIHP Nuclear History Boot Camp - 2013, co-hosted by Wilson Centre (USA) & University of Roma Tre', (Italy). She has participated in several Track-II Dialogues and presented her work in India and abroad. She holds a Doctorate in American Foreign Policy from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

She is the author of Nuclear Conundrum of Iran and North Korea: From Proliferation Crisis to Non-Proliferation Promise? (2024) Routledge/ (2023) Knowledge World (Indian Edition).

Hina is passionate about advancing the cause of Peace and Security in the world and bringing in universal values of Empathy and Sustainability to make a dent towards the #SDG2030 in her individual capacity.
